Enjoy this full day tour in Beijing and visit a typical Hutong, the Lama Temple, Panda House and Olympic Stadium. 8 hours, english speaking guide, depart daily , pick up at the hotel and start time 7.30. 2 person can go.

Tour Description :
You will be picked up at your hotel and taken to Beijing Zoo where you can see the lovely Giant Pandas. The Panda Zoo visit will take approximately 40 minutes. After, you will visit the largest Lama Temple of Beijing - Yonghe Temple, where you will have a 1 hour tour of the mysterious Tibet style Buddhist temple, followed by a visit to a Chinese traditional handicraft silk carpet factory. Next is lunch with the locals in a typical Beijing resident's house, before exploring the old Beijing lanes by rickshaw. This Hutong tour will last for approximately 2 hours and you will visit the typical Chinese quadrangles, a primary school, many famous old buildings and the bell tower - a fantastic opportunity to explore the real life of ordinary people in Beijing. Your tour will then visit the Olympic Stadium to take pictures from the outside. If you are interested in the inner structure of the stadium, the tour guide will help you to buy tickets (payment on the spot). On the way back to your hotel, you will also get the chance to enjoy a tea ceremony at a typical China Tea House.

Tour Description :

Firstly visit the famous Tiananmen Square, before taking the short walk to the amazing and beautiful Forbidden City. It is the largest and best-preserved palatial complex. Walk along the central axis of palaces from south to north and marvel at the fabulous buildings hidden behind the walls. You will then take a one hour drive to Chang Ping county and have a short visit to a Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of excellent carving skill and Chinese traditional cultures. Before starting the afternoon sightseeing you will have a traditional Chinese lunch. From there, you will take a 30 minute journey to Badaling Great Wall. Badaling section is the most famous and best-preserved wall. Its highest point at Badaling is some 800 meters above sea level. A pulley car is available for those who prefer not to make the climb (must be paid for on the spot). After discovering this world famous sight, you will make your way back to your hotel in Beijing, but not before stopping at an establishment for Chinese traditional medicine culture.

Nowhere in the world are you likely to find a city with such a fascinating mix of ancient and modern as Beijing. The striking contrast between the lavish imperial palaces, the Communist era edifices and the modern havens to commercialism are at once inspiring and bewildering.

Although you will still come across old men in Mao style uniforms wandering the streets, Beijing is desperately trying to shed its grey, Eastern-bloc coat in favour of a new, shiny image. Springing up all over the city are spanking new department stores, hotels and restaurants, enticing people in with the promise of Western designer brands and luxury lifestyles. Cheek by jowl with these are old "hutongs", traditional streets with atmospheric little tea shops where you'll find makeshift barbers set up in the middle of the street and rickety market stalls selling fruit and vegetables.
